Politics is gradually turning to something else on daily basis. A video circulating online captured an assembly member receiving the beatings of his life, for the alleged reasons.
The new elected Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Bekwai, who is ready to serve his second term, got 33 yes votes out of 48 total vote casted.
The assembly member is believed to go against the will of the new appointee which led to his discipline by the some of the masses available.
Hon Okatakyie was manhandled and video taped. Noises from the background which says “Is that Okatakyie that is been beaten like that” as they could not believe their eyes.
Security present at the even interrupted to quench the brawl between the parties involved.
