Dane Rampe is an Australian rules football player for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League, he was born on June 2, 1990 in Sydney and was raised in Clovelly, New South Wales. From the start of the 2019 season, he has served as the Swans’ co-captain.
His parents and grandfather immigrated from Estonia to Sydney. He attended Newington College, where he participated in football and basketball. When he began playing Australian football, he was 17 years old.

Rampe suffered an injury in March 2017 while jogging. He fractured his arm after falling. Prior to the season, he was named co-captain alongside Josh Kennedy and Luke Parker, and after participating in all but one of the Swans’ games, he took home his first Greatest trophy.
