Bill and Giuliana Rancic welcomed their first male child Edward Duke Rancic, on 29th August 2012 in Denver, according to a tweet from the couple on Thursday morning.
In the tweet they wrote; “The Duke has arrived!” The Apprentice winner says, “Edward Duke Rancic was welcomed into the world last night at 7 lbs., 4 oz.” “G and I are beyond grateful… We did it!”
The baby’s chord was cut by Bill and he was first held by Giuliana after he was born at 10:12 p.m. with the parents in the delivery room, according to the couple.
After battling infertility, loss, and breast cancer, E! news anchor and Fashion Police co-host Giuliana Rancic, 37, and her husband announced that they were expecting a baby via gestational surrogacy.
The Rancics announced in June that they will be welcoming a boy with a traditional name. Bill, 41, tells PEOPLE, “Our journey has a beautiful ending.” “We didn’t give up, we didn’t quit, and this will have a happy conclusion.”
