On Monday 3rd August 2020, SHS 3 students sat for their final Science exams from the West African Examination Council (WAEC) Ghana.
Students were expecting relatively cheap and friendly type questions. This was as a result of leaked exams papers that was circulating on the various social media platforms. Others paid huge sums of money to individuals who promised to leak question papers, hours before they write their final exams.
All leaked papers turned most students down especially the unprepared ones. It became a talk of the day on social media. Some students complained bitterly of how difficult their Integrated science paper was.
According to students who regretted writing the paper, the Akuffo Addo government distributed books to them claiming questions will be set from it. But to their surprise, nothing came from the books offered by the Ghana Education Service (GES).
They further stated that, the Education body should have allowed them to study on their own. To them, the books gifted is misleading.
