President Akufo Addo recently revealed that, he can not be held answerable for the financial hardships dealing with the citizens of Ghana.
According to him, his main aim was to ensure smooth running of Ghana’s economic affairs, adding that, he is performing his duties as a political leader.
At the opening ceremony of the party office of the Juaben branch of the New Patriotic Party, President Akuffo Addo said his government has done its duty and he cannot be blamed for the difficulties Ghanaians are facing.
He admitted there is hardships in the county but those trying to blame him should be conscious about their opinions.
He said: “I admit that Ghanaians are going through difficult times, some people are trying to say that I caused it but you know that is not the case. I am hopeful that if you all support the vision of my government, we will be able to turn things around.”
He further revealed that, his governance has what ever it takes to achieve their dreams as political leaders. “Non of them can match us, the person you choose after I leave office will become the next president of Ghana. He Added.
Nana Akufo Addo also advised Ghanaians to be disciplined and promote unity among themselves.
