Nigerians are really mad at Grammy’s now as they claim the organization gave Wizkid award to Angelique Kidjo, a Benin Superstar at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.

The Nigerians see no reason why the award must be given to Angelique as they claim she doesn’t sing better in her songs. Nigerians feel cheated and wants justice for their artist.
Angelique and Wizkid competed in the same category for Best Global Music Album 2022 which ended in tears for Wizkid and his Nigerian fans.
Wizkid left the 64th Annual Grammy Awards without winning a single award in all the categories he was nominated.
His fans wants reasons why he was not awarded after he emerged as the first African Artiste to pull a lot of people to fill the O2 Arena this year.

Nigerian comedian, Carter Efe in tears over Wizkid failure to win the Grammys award after it was given to Angelique Kidjo.
According to the Carter Efe, the Nigerian superstar Wizkid gets more comments and likes on Instagram post than the Benin superstar Angelique Kidjo.
“Wizkid gets at least 20k comments regularly on his Instagram post” he added.

Another Instagram user, Isokoboy hits straight at Grammys and seeks justice for Wizkid. For him, Angelique doesn’t sing anything special that deserve to win an award over the giant Nigerian millionaire musician, Wizkid.

Wizkid peacefully left the award house after he lost all the two nominations to other musicians.
Various reactions on social media indicates that, Nigerians and fans of the artiste are really disappointed in Grammys for sidelining Wizkid this year even after nominating him.
On the other hand, fans of his rival, Davido are happy and celebrating over Wizkid’s Grammy miss.
