Katie’s stepfather is Paul, whom her mother wed in 1988. Instead of their biological father Ray, Katie and her brother Daniel adopted the Paul surname.
Katie frequently posts pictures of herself with Paul, whom she considers to be her father. According to The Sun, he appeared at Chichester Crown Court in 2016 for allegedly raping two women.

I am confident that he will always be there for me. He is a people person, so you really can’t keep people away.”
Paul went out with Katie and his family to celebrate the outcome after the court ruled him not guilty. Katie uploaded a picture to Instagram and captioned it, “My mum and dad tonight celebrating my dad’s innocence and justice I love them to bits.”
