Inspector Emmanuel Kofi Nunekpeku was discovered dead in his bed at about 10:25 AM according to Graphic Online.
The wife, who is also a police officer, discovered the husband’s body in the room at Block E, Room 35.
Sergeant Faustina Nunekpeku of the Police Hospital Public Relations Department visited her husband and discovered him dead in bed, according to reports made by Graphic online.
They went to the Cantonments police station with another officer to report the event. The cops arrived at the scene and examined the body for furthur details on what could have been the cause of the sudden death of the police officer.
Graphic Online collects that no signs of assault were found, implying any wrongdoing. The body of the deceased was rushed to the police mortuary which is currently awaiting autopsy.
