A thief caught at Adum in Kumasi forced to remove dirt from filthy gutters whiles being supervised by a group of people.
He was given two alternatives, either to clean the gutters or get beaten by the people around.
In the video, some inmates could be heard suggesting they should beat the hell out of him because he was not doing the work as expected. The middle age thief look so confused and scared whiles he puts more effort in cleaning the gutters.
Gone were the days when thief’s were beaten till they become unconscious or even die. Over the years, Ghanaians are gradually changing that motive as they make good use of thieves by assigning them to clean the community.

Everything started from Takoradi in the central region of Ghana, where a thief was given food and made to do hard work. Some too were forced to dance and its fun.
