Miles Alexander Teller known as Miles Teller is an American actor, born on February 20, 1987 in Downingtown Pennsylvania.
He is most known for playing the pilot Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw in Top Gun: Maverick and jazz musician Andrew Neiman in Whiplash.
His breakthrough came with his performance in the 2014 Academy Award-winning drama Whiplash, which brought him widespread recognition.
Teller made his feature film debut in 2010 and quickly rose to fame, most notably for his leading roles in the Spectacular Now (2013) and the Divergent film trilogy (2014–2016).
After Whiplash, he started appearing in several love comedies including the superhero movie “Fantastic Four (2015),” and the biographical movies “War Dogs and Bleed (2016),” and others.
Teller played the lead role in the action movie Top Gun: Maverick in 2022. Teller previously worked with Joseph Kosinski on the movie “Only the Brave.”
